Trump-supported crypto project World Liberty Financial is collaborating with Hong Kong AI platform WorldClaw, which has 43 out of its 90 models sourced from Chinese companies flagged by the U.S. government for security or intellectual property risks.

WorldClaw's WorldRouter provides access to models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Chinese developers, including Alibaba, Baidu, Z.ai, DeepSeek, and Moonshot. The U.S. Department of Defense has listed Alibaba and Baidu as companies linked to the Chinese military, while the Department of Commerce has placed Z.ai on the Entity List.

WorldClaw accepts payments for model services in USD1, a stablecoin issued by World Liberty Financial. The Trump family holds approximately 38% equity in World Liberty Financial and stands to benefit from revenues related to its crypto products.

Inputs submitted to models via WorldRouter may be transmitted to the corresponding model providers' servers; WorldClaw's terms acknowledge that user inputs will be shared with model suppliers. The company states it has implemented privacy and security measures for the platform but has not disclosed the technical scope of these measures, data retention arrangements, or results of third-party audits.

It is generally not illegal for U.S. individuals and businesses to use Chinese models on the platform, but some model developers are subject to export controls or national security reviews, primarily restricting their access to U.S. technology and specific commercial interactions. Reuters has not reported any allegations against World Liberty Financial or WorldClaw for legal violations.

In terms of risk mechanisms, the model routing platform distributes developer prompts, code, corporate documents, and agent tasks to different suppliers. If users send sensitive content to scrutinized overseas models, they may face risks of data exposure, content censorship, and malicious code injection; WorldClaw and USD1 benefit from network usage and related revenues from model calls and stablecoin payments. Corporate clients that cannot accurately control routing destinations will bear risks related to supply chain compliance, data governance, and reputation.
