Dylan Field, CEO of Figma, discussed the technological landscape of 2036, stating that quantum computers with about 10,000 logical qubits may emerge, Mars colonization has at least begun, brain-computer interfaces will be available, and a human connection group will take shape.

He divided the experience into two categories: default and optional. In the default state, the way humans perceive the world will still be close to today; only by actively choosing will the experience be significantly rewritten. This choice is defined as voluntary entry, rather than being uniformly imposed.

Logical qubits refer to usable qubits after error correction, which are not counted the same as physical qubits. Field considers 10,000 logical qubits as an achievable scale for 2036, without specifying vendors, error rates, error correction costs, or specific technological pathways.

The original statement regarding Mars was "colonization, or the beginning of colonization," not completed settlement. Brain-computer interfaces are said to be "available," and the human connection group is said to "exist," without mentioning clinical stages, regulatory milestones, mapping accuracy, or commercialization timelines.

The second paragraph limits changes to options. Technology can make the world look very different, but Field believes that most people's daily experiences will remain continuous, with differences arising from whether they enter a new interface, rather than the environment being replaced all at once.

This set of judgments does not correspond to immediate buy-sell orders and belongs to a long-term scenario, not guidance for orders or capital expenditures. If funding is priced according to its path, increments will flow towards quantum error correction, transportation and residency, brain-computer interfaces, and neural mapping. Interface layer companies will benefit from the need to design, compare, and choose new experiences; hardware and launch entities will be pressured by fulfillment timelines, while the software layer will be pressured by unchanged default experiences and limited paid switches.

The public statements did not provide exchange data, shareholding changes, or related company orders. Only four endpoints can be verified: 10,000 logical qubits, the beginning of Mars colonization, available brain-computer interfaces, the human connection group, and the necessity of actively choosing to rewrite experiences.
