Jointly, founded by British Columbia lawyer Amanda Baron and Aimee Schalles, is a digital platform for cohabitation, prenuptial, and postnuptial agreements: lawyers draft terms, content is province-specific, and questionnaires generate text, priced at about CAD 379 per couple, compared to traditional costs of CAD 2,500 to 5,000 for each party hiring a lawyer. The system uses conditional logic rather than generative models for drafting. It is already launched in Ontario, with Alberta and British Columbia awaiting approval; some provinces do not require independent legal opinions for agreements to be effective, but Alberta still requires a lawyer's certification. Baron has experienced a divorce without an agreement, and Schalles has seen oral agreements fail in practice.

Hustle Fund plans to take similar roadshows to New York, Toronto, Seoul, and San Francisco next. Angel Squad claims over 1,500 angels and has invested USD 65 million in more than 65 companies. The Vancouver event is a selection stop on a North American tour, not a contract signing event.

Family law is regulated by province, and products must be versioned for each province. The roadshow compressed "making agreements 90% cheaper" into 150 seconds, with judges focusing on regulatory compliance and customer acquisition, not slogans. The first place prize brings attention in the room and a mascot, but the next step still requires approval from each province.

In market mechanics, this is an early-stage fund using roadshows as a project funnel. Buyers want to see local founders as angels; sellers are legal tech teams lacking exposure. Funding has not yet been secured due to winning the competition; the pathway is subsequent negotiations.
