The risk section comprises about 80 pages of the 261-page document, with approximately 48 pages dedicated to business descriptions. In comparison, SpaceX's risk section is about 38 pages. Evan Hubinger, head of alignment science, estimates a greater than 10% probability of AI causing human fatalities in the next decade. CEO Dario Amodei publicly places the probability of a "very bad" outcome between 10% and 25%. The company's policy documents list bioweapons assistance, cyberattacks, and system failures as severe risks requiring government intervention.

Financial and governance details include projected revenues of nearly $4.6 billion in 2025, an operating loss of about $8.06 billion, computing expenses of $7.33 billion, and year-end cash of approximately $20.3 billion; two clients account for about a quarter of revenue with no long-term commitments. Long-term cloud and infrastructure commitments total approximately $518 billion. Co-founders plan to retain 50.1% voting rights on key matters. Valuation discussions point to over $2 trillion.

The document also states that the market will reward reliable, trustworthy, and safe systems, comparing the impact of AI on the economy to that of industrialization and electricity. Warnings and pricing are presented as part of the same narrative to investors.

Mechanically, this represents a risk premium revaluation driven by issuance disclosures, not a product withdrawal. Buyers are public funds looking to share revenue slopes; sellers are issuers required by law to disclose known tail risks. Funding continues to flow towards training and cloud contracts. Beneficiaries are the underwriting chains that can still inquire about pricing after compliance statements, while buyers' committees face pressure to explain multiples after including "civilization loss of control" in the S-1. The sentence itself does not freeze computing power procurement.
