Grokipedia Refreshes Interface and Opens Real-time Revision Tracking

SpaceXAI has launched Grokipedia v0.3 on grokipedia.com, featuring a new logo, a book-style homepage, and a real-time editing page where users can suggest revisions, which Grok will verify against sources.

The homepage has expanded from a "logo plus search box" to a rotating selection of digital book covers, a horizontally scrolling "most read" shelf, and the latest approved revision tracking; the site reports 6,092,140 entries and 1,175,853 approved revisions. The article page has tightened line spacing, redesigned the top key facts table, while the main structure of entries remains largely unchanged. v0.1 started on October 27, 2025, with about 885,279 machine-written entries, and v0.2 added the suggestion layer on November 21, 2025.

The editing model still prohibits readers from directly rewriting: logged-in users submit suggestions, which Grok can approve, reject, or suspend, without publicly disclosing the complete diff. After a hiatus, suggestions have been reprocessed, such as adding the October 6 release date for Gears of War: E-Day; there is also a new entry request for the Meta Muse chatbot under review. Some high-traffic pages have new "Grok fact-check" timestamps, while other pages remain stuck on checks from about seven months ago, with refreshes not synchronizing across the entire site.

Design lead Benji Taylor described this as a "refreshed Grokipedia," mentioning collaboration with Diego Pasini, with further changes planned. Elon Musk retweeted the launch information and called for joining SpaceXAI, with the long-term goal still being to rename it to Encyclopedia Galactica once the content is deemed sufficient. In January 2026, the site added images, information boxes, and knowledge panels, and can be installed as a progressive web app.

After April 24, 2026, reviews and automatic revisions temporarily halted: public records show about 13,002 suggestions stuck in review, and about 8,658 approved but not incorporated into the text; thereafter, human submissions still enter the queue at about 216 per week. In August, analysis indicated that sampled pages had not seen text changes since April. In late September, the real-time page reintroduced records like "recheck all references and sources," with v0.3 creating an interface to view more changes simultaneously.

In market mechanisms, this is a product restart driving attention back, not a turnover of trading funds. What is bought is an "entry that is browsable and visible for revisions happening"; what is sold is the perception of a frozen encyclopedia after months of inactivity. Traffic and indexing had risen with the expansion of entries, but there was also a claim of over 6 million entries versus search engine indexing gaps. Beneficiaries include SpaceXAI's knowledge product line, which needs public recruitment and brand survival; under pressure are the Wikipedia-style crowdsourced editing rights, and readers whose trust has not yet been restored after a backlog of suggestions.
