Iman Gadzhi Claims Higgsfield Levels Content Creation Barriers, Achieves Over $1 Billion Annual Revenue in Just 18 Months

Iman Gadzhi stated that his first business was a media agency, starting with a single editor, a single camera, and overnight work, making it difficult to compete without a team, budget, or fans. Higgsfield has now leveled that competitive environment.

He pointed out that Higgsfield achieved over $1 billion in annual revenue in just 18 months since its launch, the fastest growth in software history, with over 30 million global users and 390 Fortune 500 companies using its services.

Gadzhi mentioned that whether selling coaching services, digital products, local services, or e-commerce, users can now access a complete marketing department at their fingertips. He told the Higgsfield team that they accomplished what he had been trying to do for ten years, providing ordinary people with content capabilities equivalent to the largest global brands.

The platform was founded by former Snap generative AI head Alex Mashrabov, with the engineering team primarily based in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and headquarters in San Francisco, completing a $400 million funding round with a valuation of $5.4 billion. Gadzhi became an investor and advisor earlier this year and kept it confidential.

He described this as the beginning of a new era, expressing his honor to be involved and looking forward to subsequent initiatives, currently returning to work. Collaborations will start with content filmed from the Almaty office, launching a series of plans.

Capital and tools are shifting from traditional high-cost production teams to AI subscription platforms, driven by user scale and corporate adoption, benefiting individual creators and small teams by lowering barriers, while large traditional productions and high-budget agencies face pressure.

Iman Gadzhi started as a media agency with a single device in his teenage years, later shifting to education and platform equity, now comparing his ten years of content production experience with Higgsfield's AI generation capabilities, noting that the tools allow individuals to achieve outputs that previously required an entire team.

On the capital front, Gadzhi invested in Higgsfield and serves as an advisor, directing funds towards generative video and image subscriptions, motivated by the goal of bringing professional content capabilities to everyday users, reallocating resources from agency-driven models to model-driven tools.

Similar cases include early design tools that lowered professional barriers and generative platforms expanding from experimental to enterprise scale. Currently, Higgsfield is transitioning from rapid revenue growth to widespread creator and enterprise penetration, with its engineering core in Central Asia.

Essentially, this represents a technological substitution: AI generation tools replace traditional production teams and equipment investments, with the mechanism being that models lower marginal costs, allowing individuals and small teams to compete in content quality with large brands, thereby shifting the scale and capital thresholds of the creative industry.
