Iman Gadzhi Announces Investment and Advisory Role in Higgsfield, Calls it One of His Biggest Career Bets

Iman Gadzhi announced his investment and advisory role in Higgsfield, calling it one of his biggest career bets, located in Almaty, Kazakhstan rather than Silicon Valley or New York.

He stated that his stake was acquired earlier this year and kept confidential until now. The Higgsfield engineering and production team is primarily based in Almaty, with the company headquarters in San Francisco, founded by former Snap generative AI head Alex Mashrabov.

Since launching in March 2025, the platform has achieved an annualized revenue of over $1 billion within 18 months, serving over 30 million users across 238 countries and regions, and providing visual production for 390 Fortune 500 companies. The company completed a $400 million Series B funding round, reaching a valuation of $5.4 billion, with investors including DST Global, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and Intel Capital.

Gadzhi previously built a digital marketing agency and online education business from scratch, currently owns Consulting.com, and co-owns Whop. He pointed out that the platform allows individuals to create content that previously required a full production team using just a laptop.

The collaboration will start with a series of initiatives featuring content shot in the Almaty office. Gadzhi stated that the motivation for the investment is to stand on the side of tools that level the competitive landscape, rather than merely seeking returns.

Capital is flowing from individual investors to the AI video generation platform in Central Asia, driven by rapid revenue growth and rising valuations, benefiting small team creators and local engineering teams, while traditional high-budget production processes are under pressure.

Iman Gadzhi started from trading Instagram accounts and digital marketing agencies in his teenage years, later shifting to educational courses and software, acquiring Consulting.com in 2025 and co-owning Whop, forming a path from services to platform equity, now extending his bets to an AI company in Almaty.

On the capital path, Gadzhi invests in Higgsfield and serves as an advisor, directing funds towards AI generation tool subscriptions and enterprise services, motivated by the desire to democratize professional content production capabilities to individuals, reallocating resources from traditional centers in Silicon Valley/New York to Central Asian engineering teams.

Similar cases include the path of early generative tools from experimentation to scaling, and entrepreneurs extending from educational businesses to tool equity. Currently, Higgsfield is transitioning from rapid revenue growth to penetrating global enterprises and creators, with engineering at its core in Almaty.

Essentially, this represents a technological substitution: AI generation tools replace traditional production teams, with the mechanism being that models lower costs, enabling remote engineering teams and individual creators to achieve outputs at the level of major brands, thus changing the geographical and scale thresholds of the creative industry.
