Printr initiates shutdown and cancels TGE and airdrop

The cross-chain Meme coin launchpad platform Printr has announced the initiation of its business shutdown process, with all operations set to end by August 31.

Starting August 18, the platform will automatically release staking positions on supported chains and distribute accumulated staking rewards, with assets returned to the original deposit wallets; users who do not receive their assets by August 20 must contact the team by August 31.

Printr confirms that there will be no token generation event or airdrop, and points accumulated through creation, trading, and invitation mechanisms will not be converted into project tokens.

After August 31, the Printr application interface will be taken offline, and the platform will cease new token issuance; the team has not disclosed any acquirer, business migration plans, or alternative operating entities.

Tokens issued via Printr will continue to exist as independent assets on their respective blockchains, with Printr not holding or controlling these assets; holders must manage related tokens through other DEXs or direct on-chain interactions.

From a market mechanism perspective, the shutdown directly terminates speculative demand formed around points, future TGE, and airdrop expectations, with point holders losing potential cash-out paths; staking funds will be automatically returned to the original wallets. The liquidity and price discovery of existing tokens will rely more on external DEXs, on-chain market makers, and the respective project communities, rather than Printr's issuance and trading entry.

Printr announced in 2025 that it had raised a total of $4.5 million and entered the market with cross-chain token issuance, cross-chain swapping, bridging, and revenue-sharing models; its closure is attributed to the failure to secure the funding and distribution support required in the current market environment.
