The X Subscription's Plus plan monthly fee is $8, Super plan monthly fee is $100, Ultra plan monthly fee is $200
SpaceXAI launched The X Subscription on October 12, integrating Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor, and X Premium into a single subscription plan. New users can subscribe immediately, while existing users will gradually receive the option to switch in the coming days.
The Plus plan has a monthly fee of $8, offering more AI usage for Grok and Cursor, an X verification badge, creator tools, and fewer ads; the Premium plan costs $30 per month, including previously combined benefits worth about $90 from SuperGrok, Cursor Pro, and X Premium+, with usage four times that of the basic plan.
The Super plan has a monthly fee of $100, with usage 15 times that of Plus; the Ultra plan costs $200 per month, with usage 50 times that of Plus. The paid plans share a weekly usage pool for the Grok model, covering Grok applications, Grok tags within X, and Cursor, with each plan's coding usage being at least twice that of the equivalent Cursor plan.
The Grok Bot is included starting from the Premium plan, serving as an AI teammate for handling work tasks. Third-party models like Claude and GPT remain available at Premium and above, but are billed separately at API pricing, payable through recharge. Existing SuperGrok, Cursor, and X Premium subscriptions can retain their original plans or switch with a proportional refund for unused time, with limited-time offers for switching.
The team plans to charge per seat, with Premium, Super, and Ultra priced at $30, $100, and $200 respectively, lower than the old Cursor team plan, with coding usage increased by about three times, and including SSO, admin controls, consolidated billing, usage analytics, and SOC 2 compliance.
Users can reduce overall spending by consolidating previously separate X Premium, SuperGrok, and Cursor subscriptions into a single bill; SpaceXAI aims to increase ARPU per user and strengthen retention effects, while independent AI tools and third-party model providers face pressure during the transition, driven by events that concentrate existing paying users and attract new customers.

SpaceXAI previously completed the acquisition of Cursor and integrated Grok Bot with SuperGrok and paid Cursor plans in August; internal documents from the end of September indicated an evaluation of integrating X and Grok into a four-tier unified subscription, shifting from dispersed product pricing to platform-based billing.
By bundling, SpaceXAI centralizes expenditures that were previously directed to X Premium, SuperGrok, and Cursor into a single bill, maximizing the utilization of its own model's computing power through a shared weekly usage pool, while third-party models shift to excess recharge revenue; the motivation is to quickly increase the average transaction value and cross-product stickiness after the acquisition.
This model is similar to Microsoft's deep integration of Copilot into Microsoft 365, or Google's unification of workflows with Workspace+Gemini; SpaceXAI is in a platform expansion phase post-acquisition, transitioning from point AI tools to full-stack control.
Essentially, this represents a transfer of pricing power: the platform controls the shared usage pool and upgrade paths, with users shifting from purchasing separately from multiple vendors to unified settlement within the platform, with excess usage flowing back through recharges, restructuring the industry chain from tool competition to a platform rental structure.
