Binance Co-founder He Yi: All in AI and Launching Three-Tier Products

Binance co-founder He Yi stated in a Chinese AMA during the smart product launch that one of Binance's major strategies is "All in AI," aiming for financial and informational equality. The three-tier products include a free Finance AI for beginners, AI Pro for advanced traders, and AgentOS for developers.

Finance AI rewrites professional on-chain and investment analysis into accessible content, and He Yi mentioned it will be available to all users within 7 days. The English launch event was introduced by co-CEO Richard Teng and VP of Products Jeff Li on October 5, with the product stack named Binance Intelligence. Officially, Binance AI will first be available for free to eligible users in New Zealand, followed by a global rollout in batches over the next few days.

AI Pro supports generating trading strategies and automated processes using natural language. Users first describe in plain language, then simulate trades, and can execute real trades 24/7. The official announcement states it will be gradually available starting mid-October, using a freemium model. The standard plan allows free queries and previews of strategies, with a monthly refresh of free credits.

AgentOS serves as a unified gateway. Developers can connect various large models and access Binance trading, wallets, market data, payments, and liquidity. The platform will preferentially recommend the intelligent agents developed by developers to all users. This layer went live in August, with the official statement indicating daily calls have exceeded 280,000, and it connects to APIs, Wallet Agentic Hub, x402 programmable payments, Skill Hub, and Model Context Protocol. Users can place individual intelligent agents into separate sub-accounts to isolate funds and trades.

He Yi stated that the crypto industry is not in opposition to traditional finance but is gradually integrating and spiraling upwards. She cautioned against overinterpreting social media comments and being lured into FOMO by token projects, emphasizing that funding decisions should be made independently. She also mentioned that due to health reasons, her social updates have been less frequent, but she will continue to collect product feedback.

The buyers are beginner users, advanced traders, and external developers, while the sellers are Binance, turning trading, wallets, and liquidity into intelligent agent interfaces. This is a product layering, not a new coin issuance. The free tier will open fully, while Pro and AgentOS will keep strategy execution within the platform. Binance gains access to dialogue and developer calls, while teams working on external trading robots face pressure.

He Yi has managed Binance's branding and user growth, while Richard Teng took over as co-CEO after 2023, bringing compliance and institutional collaboration to the forefront. Agent OS was released in August, followed by the three-tier stack launched by Teng and Jeff Li on October 5, with He Yi referring to the same set of products as All in AI during the Chinese AMA. The sequence began with the developer gateway and 280,000 daily calls, followed by the general user entry.

The free Finance AI does not charge for strategy fees, instead retaining all users on Binance to view analyses and place orders. AI Pro integrates natural language strategies, simulated trades, and real trades into the internal executor. AgentOS allows connection to external large models, but trading, wallets, and liquidity operate through Binance's interface, and intelligent agents can be placed into sub-accounts. Models can be external, but transactions and custody remain within the platform.

The approach is similar to Robinhood embedding strategies and information into brokerage accounts, and also resembles OpenAI using plugins to call brokerages, but the ordering authority remains with licensed accounts. The difference is that Binance simultaneously controls spot trading, wallets, and on-chain payments. The industry is transitioning from market terminals to agent-based ordering, and whoever controls the execution interface is closer to creating a chat window that reduces fees.

The essence is the transfer of pricing power. Information equality is made into a free tier, while execution and liquidity still charge based on internal transactions. Developers' intelligent agents are preferentially recommended, and distribution rights remain with Binance. Users skip the step of exporting data and then ordering through external robots, reducing the chances of Binance being bypassed.
