The fictional character Jean Phil, with blonde hair, a mustache, and a brown suit, has been releasing content continuously since September 17, featuring activities like drinking coffee, eating oysters, and suddenly shadow boxing. While audiences debate whether he is real or generated content, the character has already generated playback and on-chain fees.

The park clip garnered 5.6 million views in 3 days, the café clip received 2.5 million views in 1 day, and the kitchen shadow boxing clip later reported 13.8 million views. The JEANPHIL token appeared on September 19. From September 22 to October 2, the named creator's wallet received approximately 1,970 SOL in claiming fees, equivalent to about $235,000 at a reference price of $119.20. This is the wallet's income, not audited team profits; a shared charging address can serve multiple tokens, and the full amount cannot be solely attributed to JEANPHIL. Estimated earnings around such characters have been reported to exceed $300,000.

On September 28, Dexerto reported that the meme coin associated with this generated influencer is valued at over $8 million and noted that imitation characters are pairing with their own tokens. A comparison post on September 30 stated that Jean Phil has over 209,000 fans, while another character, Derek Mercer, surpassed 80,000 fans within 7 days. Derek is characterized by long black hair, exaggerated muscles, oversized shirts, and chains, with images depicting him as a giant carrying Jean Phil. On October 1, someone paired a token address with a call to send Derek to a $100 million valuation, which is a promotional target, not an achieved valuation.

The formula has been publicly broken down into four steps: a recognizable quirky face in a single frame, inserting the character into existing viral videos, using visuals without text relying only on descriptions and titles, and maintaining the same appearance in each clip. Some claim similar accounts achieved 16 million views in 3 days, while others claim Jean Phil reached 100 million views in a week; these are claims in circulation, not platform-verified figures. At the same time, warnings have been issued against purchasing a $299 course. On October 2, Higgsfield officially used Jean Phil as material to promote their own AI Influencer and Genjutsu, naming the original character's account and offering up to 5 free generations.

Tools mentioned include image generation, motion transfer, and video models, including using real-life recordings for motion reference and then swapping faces. One estimate calculated the generation of 10 videos, each with 4 attempts, at a cost of $0.318 per second, with a test budget set between $160 to $300; for 30 videos, the budget was set between $500 to $700. Token income has been described as a share of transaction fees: assuming creators take 0.5%, a $10 million transaction volume corresponds to $50,000 in gross fees, while a $200 million transaction volume corresponds to $1 million in gross fees. The transaction volume includes repeated trades, and market value is not creator income, with advertising income also undisclosed.

This is an event-driven attention monetization. Viewers share, platforms sell generation tools using success stories, and those issuing tokens collect transaction fees, while trend-following creators pay for models and courses. Beneficiaries are accounts that occupy recognizable faces and charging addresses, as well as tool providers charging per generation; traditional influencers relying on real appearances for updates and latecomers whose views no longer convert into fees are under pressure. Ten characters at $10,000 each per month amount to $1.2 million a year, which is a pre-tax scenario, not realized income.
