Telegram has released version 13.0. The official update notes only mention bug fixes and minor improvements, with a detailed announcement yet to appear on the official blog. Changes compiled by Durov's Code include interface adjustments, connection methods, and video messages, with the installation package available on the App Store, Google Play, and the official website.

The wallet entry has been separated. The original Telegram Wallet has been renamed to Walt, removed from the settings menu, and is now accessible through a mini-program interface. Reports indicate that existing accounts and assets are not affected by this renaming. A new crypto wallet, Gram Wallet, is listed as a planned feature but is not yet available to users.

Changes were also made to connections and bot controls. Version 13.0 introduces web proxies as an additional connection method. A pause button has been added for AI-generated replies. Users can report mini-programs that violate platform rules. The search button has been removed from the bottom navigation bar.

The resolution of video messages on Android has been increased from 384×384 to 480×480, with a frame rate of 30. On the iOS side, the Liquid Glass visual effect for iOS 27 has been optimized. The minimum system requirement has been raised to iOS 15, meaning devices running iOS 13 or iOS 14 cannot install this version. Devices that can upgrade to iOS 15 are not affected by this requirement.

Walt and Gram have been separated into two entries. The public breakdown retains Walt as a multi-currency storage and trading interface, while Gram is described as a wallet for internal transfers and purchases within the messenger, although Gram is not yet open, and the role division has not been confirmed on the product page. Version 13.0 did not announce any changes to transaction fees, supported currencies, or regional restrictions.

This is not a token trade, but an entry migration. The buyers are users who still access the wallet from Telegram, while the sellers are the platform that moved Walt from system settings to mini-programs. The event is driven by the version release, not on-chain transfers. Beneficiaries are wallets and bots that have adapted to mini-program distribution; those under pressure are users who relied on direct access from the settings menu or are stuck on iOS 13 and iOS 14, as both the old path and the new system have been cut off in this version.

The official notes describe multiple feature changes as minor improvements, and the blog has not synchronized explanations. The opening time for Gram and the regional availability of Walt are not included in the public notes for version 13.0.
