Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced the establishment of a new AI Forward-Deployed Engineer (FDE) organization, investing $1 billion in internal resources to assist enterprise clients in deploying customized AI Agents and related systems.
FDE engineers will be stationed directly at client enterprises, responsible for building AI applications, optimizing workflows, and helping clients develop the capability to independently create and operate AI systems.
