Safe Reports Q2 Processing Nearly 130 Million Transactions with Over 63 Million Accounts

Safe's latest report shows that in the second quarter, it processed nearly 130 million transactions, with a total of over 63 million accounts created, representing a year-on-year growth of 20%. Approximately $1 of every $48 in global stablecoin supply is stored in Safe.

This quarter's revenue dropped to about $1.98 million, down from $2.88 million in the first quarter; consumer applications on World Chain and Polygon contributed most of the transaction volume, with World App accounting for 52% and Polymarket for 35.7%.

The Safenet beta launched in April has processed 456,000 transaction checks by the end of the quarter, secured by about 54.8 million staked SAFE tokens. Under event-driven conditions, funds are concentrated in smart accounts and on-chain security layers, benefiting consumer applications and stakers, while traditional multi-signature tools face pressure.

Safe has evolved from Gnosis Safe into a programmable smart account standard, with a historical path expanding from DAO treasury tools to consumer application gateways, continuously attracting high-frequency scenarios like World App and Polymarket. The number of accounts and transaction volume have still achieved year-on-year growth despite price pressures, indicating that usage scenarios have moved beyond mere asset holding.

On the capital path, Safenet introduces staked SAFE to provide real-time transaction checks and enforced protection, with the motivation to shift security from post-audit to pre-execution interception, while binding staking rewards to network security, forming a repeatable income and governance loop.

Similar cases can be seen with smart wallets like Argent and Sequence expanding in the account abstraction wave. Currently, Safe is in a control period transitioning from infrastructure to a security network, with consumer chains and prediction markets becoming the main sources of traffic.

Essentially, this is a technological replacement: smart accounts and on-chain security networks replace traditional EOAs and centralized risk control, with the mechanism being that staked tokens provide economic incentives and real-time verification, making transaction security a composable on-chain service rather than an external dependency.
