There is a bunch of VCs and Silicon Valley guys in the U.S. government now. It’s great to have some change and fresh perspectives. But also there is nowhere to exit and every bad projection has real consequences.Gabor Gurbacs · 2026/01/13

To be clear: selling bitcoin because you're afraid of quantum computers does not suddenly protect your fiat from quantum computers.Gabor Gurbacs · 2025/12/16
There’s a lot of FUD around Bitcoin’s quantum risk. The fact is that Bitcoin’s security is anchored in hash-based proof-of-work, which remains quantum-resistant (Grover only yields a quadratic speed-up). The main quantum target (ECDSA public keys) is already mitigated by non-reuse of addresses and can be upgraded to post-quantum signatures (eg.: NIST FIPS-205 hash-based schemes). Bitcoin’s architecture is adaptable, conservative and mathematically robust. Quantum doesn’t break Bitcoin.Gabor Gurbacs · 2025/12/16
