Bier's consultation fee is set at $500 per minute

Nikita Bier has listed one-on-one video consultations on the expert appointment platform Intro, priced at $500 per minute. A 30-minute session costs $15,000, which translates to $30,000 per hour. The page specifies that only companies that have received venture capital can make appointments.

The topics that can be discussed include viral growth, product, design, community, financing, and social account growth. Example questions provided by the platform include how to launch the app and which distribution channels are most suitable. Some pages list a starting price of $7,500 for 15 minutes, but the actual purchase options start from 30 minutes at $15,000. Another option lists 60 minutes at $30,000 marked down to $28,000, and 75 minutes at $34,500. On Intro, his price ranks second, with Comfrt founder Hudson Leogrande charging $20,000 per session ahead of him.

Bier served as the head of X products from July 2025 until August 5, 2026, when he stepped down but remained as an advisor. Prior to this, he co-founded the anonymous voting app tbh, which was acquired by Facebook in 2017; he also founded Gas, which was acquired by Discord in 2023. Both apps reached number one on the App Store but were later shut down by the buyers. Reports also mention his role as a product growth partner at Lightspeed and an advisor to the Solana Foundation.

This is not a new fund; it is a listing of his time after stepping down. Buyers are limited to founders who have already secured venture capital, and those without funding cannot access the appointment page. A 30-minute session costs $15,000 in cash, coming from the company's budget for personal consulting, without exchanging equity. In October, some still compared this pricing to break down the same set of consumer application methods into free open-source skills.

The seller is a former product head who has been acquired twice and has two apps that topped the app store, while the buyer is a startup willing to spend funding money on half an hour of distribution advice. The beneficiaries are experts who can set the appointment threshold at "funded," while those who have not secured venture capital are pressured and thus excluded from the calls. The platform's commission is not separately listed in the pricing.
