This behavior is reminiscent of Google's strategy of aggressively poaching Apple talent to develop the Android ecosystem. Currently, OpenAI is in the early stages of transitioning from cloud AI to consumer hardware, facing dual bottlenecks in supply chain and intellectual property.

Essentially, this represents restructuring of the industry chain: AI companies are breaking down traditional hardware giants' barriers to innovation through capital-driven talent and technology transfers, accelerating the integration of software and hardware, as cutting-edge AI requires edge computing capabilities, making hardware know-how a scarce resource.
