Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor released a company Bitcoin holding tracking image with the caption "We're back." Following the usual pattern of posting images over the weekend and announcing the next day, the market interprets this as a potential resumption of buying after a pause of about ten weeks.

The company's last disclosed purchase was on June 22, when it bought 520 Bitcoins at an average price of about $67,000, raising its holdings to 847,363 Bitcoins. After that, the company shifted to selling coins, issuing common stock, hoarding dollars, and repurchasing preferred stock: thousands of coins were sold cumulatively in July and early August, reducing holdings to about 840,447 Bitcoins, with an average cost of about $75,300, totaling around $63 billion, which is about 4% of Bitcoin's maximum supply.

The cash side has also thickened during the same period. The total dollar reserves and available cash are reported to be about $6.69 billion, with restricted reserves around $5.1 billion and flexible cash about $1.59 billion, while preferred stock dividend coverage is said to be close to four years. The logic behind the pause is to first replenish dollars, then repurchase the preferred stock code-named Stretch, rather than adding to positions unconditionally every week.

Bitcoin spot prices rebounded over 2.5% from Friday's low, approaching $79,000, with the estimated floating profit from the holdings turning positive again. The market predicts a 96% probability of announcing Bitcoin purchases this week. The post itself did not specify quantity, transaction price, or securities filings.

The actual implementation will depend on the next statutory disclosure: how much was bought, whether it was with common stock or cash, and whether the repurchase of preferred stock continues simultaneously. Given that the dividend coverage has already been extended, new raised funds are more likely to flow into both Bitcoin and preferred stock, rather than continuing to pile up dollars.

Mechanically, the seller is the company chairman interpreting the weekend image as a policy signal, while the buyer sees Strategy as a leveraged beta stock and options for Bitcoin. The event-driven aspect is that a ten-week silence was interrupted by a slogan. Funds buy expectations before the announcement and may be disappointed or double down after the 8-K is released. Beneficiaries are short-term trading positions in spot Bitcoin and the company's common stock; those under pressure are the dollar reserves stabilized by coin sales and positions treating the slogan as executed buy orders.
