Former Sequoia Capital head Michael Moritz stated that the imprints absorbed before the age of fourteen follow a person for life, being both an angel and a demon. He spoke about what one has seen, where aspirations lie, and the resilience in pursuing results. This is his judgment after his family escaped from Nazi Germany to Wales, not a personality test.

In the same vein, Jeremy Stern of Colossus wrote about Mark Zuckerberg's interest in Rome, particularly Augustus, which has continued from his youth into his company. Augustus was the first emperor who transformed Rome from a republic to an empire. Zuckerberg studied Latin in high school to read and memorize Virgil's "Aeneid." At 42, he can still recite lines, including "I do not give these boundaries of space and time; I give an empire without end."

At the end of early all-hands meetings, he would shout "Domination." Facebook's early president Sean Parker advised him to stop, as this phrase could later be cited in antitrust lawsuits. During his Harvard years, he took a course on Roman art history from the time of Augustus. In crisis meetings facing the threat from Google, he quoted "Carthage must be destroyed." In recent years, he has publicly discussed Augustus's harsh measures before the long peace, stating that it was not achieved for free.

In a recent keynote speech, he named his personal Muse Agrippa. Agrippa was one of Augustus's two key aides in the early days. Stern noted that such historical analogies are common among people at this level. He recalled that Elon Musk once compared himself to Napoleon. Users place Napoleon's study of Alexander at age fifteen in the same category of reading effects, but the program did not attribute this quote to Zuckerberg.

Moritz separates intensity from the internal. He stated that a person's intensity is highest in their teens and twenties, while external intensity declines after their thirties and forties, but the internal does not change. His own example is the awareness of retreat in a refugee family: when the fire is too big, there must be a place to go. He did not say that age fourteen determines wealth, only that the imprint determines the angels and demons one deals with later.

This is a narrative asset, not a job announcement. The buyers treat historical figures as self-explanatory founders, while the sellers are the biographies and Latin texts read in youth. The events are driven by a long narrative connecting meeting slogans, course websites, and naming agents. Money does not move by recitation. Those who can explain current control using old texts benefit, while companies that leave the same slogan in antitrust documents are under pressure.
