Sygnum Bank: Ethereum Validators Queue Reaches 2.5 Million ETH

Swiss digital asset bank Sygnum Bank stated that the queue for Ethereum validators has reached approximately 2.5 million ETH, with an activation waiting time of about 43 days. However, part of the backlog comes from operators adding and reinvesting existing stakes after the Pectra upgrade, rather than all being new demand.

The exit queue is nearly empty, indicating a low willingness to unstake; currently, about 41.2 million ETH is staked, accounting for 33.8% of the circulating supply.

The event-driven staking lock-in reinforces supply tightening expectations, benefiting long-term holders and institutional staking, while short-term liquid supply and exit willingness are under pressure.
