Interactive Brokers has officially integrated ChatGPT and Grok, expanding its AI trading capabilities, having previously integrated Anthropic Claude.
Existing customers can use these features at no additional cost, allowing users to link their IBKR accounts directly and perform portfolio analysis, market research, and generate trading instructions using natural language. The capabilities extend to options, futures, and futures options; the features are now available on multiple platforms including Client Portal, IBKR Desktop, Mobile, and TWS.
The security design employs a "human-machine collaboration" architecture, where AI-generated instructions are non-binding drafts that require user manual review and confirmation. The authenticated connector is managed by Interactive Brokers, does not share passwords or API keys, and access can be revoked at any time.
