Tether Leads NEURA Robotics' $1.4 Billion Series C Financing

Tether has confirmed it is leading a Series C financing round for German robotics startup NEURA Robotics, with a maximum amount of $1.4 billion. This round could value the company at approximately €4 billion.

NEURA Robotics was founded in 2019 by David Reger and focuses on developing "cognitive robots" with visual, auditory, and environmental perception capabilities, while also creating the Neuraverse software platform to support safe interactions between industrial and consumer-grade intelligent robots and humans.

Previously, the company completed a €120 million financing round in January 2025, with order volumes nearing $1 billion, and clients including Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Omron.

Tether has previously accumulated substantial reserves through its stablecoin business and is gradually expanding into tangible technology fields such as AI and robotics. This investment in NEURA Robotics continues its strategy of transitioning from crypto finance to real-world AI infrastructure, having accelerated hardware and platform commercialization through capital injection in several early-stage tech projects.

In terms of capital flow, Tether is directly injecting stablecoin reserve cash into NEURA, which not only seeks high-growth application scenarios for its USDT ecosystem but also creates a long-term return cycle through robot orders and platform revenue, while helping NEURA rapidly expand production and R&D to seize the humanoid robot market window.

Similar to how Tesla and Boston Dynamics achieved technological leaps after receiving strategic capital support in their early stages, NEURA Robotics is currently in an expansion phase transitioning from prototype development to large-scale commercial deployment, solidifying its leading position in the European cognitive robotics field with Tether's lead investment.

Essentially, this represents a concentration of capital and technological substitution: Tether's significant lead investment accelerates the concentration of AI-driven robotics capital from decentralized startups to leading platforms, promoting the transition of robots from traditional industrial automation to general intelligent agents with perception and interaction capabilities, reshaping the cost structure of manufacturing and consumer services as well as human-machine collaboration models.

The closer the order volume, the more certain the valuation increase.
The more perceptive the hardware platform, the faster the capital migration from virtual to tangible.
