Base MCP has now been integrated into Perplexity Computer, allowing users to research any token, set entry points, and have Base MCP prepare swap transactions for approval.
This integration enables AI agents to perform balance checks, view transaction history, send funds, swap tokens, and operate Base ecosystem applications, supporting plugins such as Morpho, Moonwell, Aerodrome, and Uniswap.
In terms of market mechanisms, AI agent users drive conditional order execution, becoming the main buyers of liquidity on the Base chain, with event-driven funds flowing from the Perplexity platform to Base DeFi protocols, benefiting Base ecosystem projects and integrated AI tools, while traditional trading interfaces face pressure.
