Anthropic Launches Claude Design, Converting Text Directly into Deliverable Design and Code Assets
Anthropic has launched Claude Design, powered by Claude Opus 4.7, which can directly generate design drafts, interactive prototypes, presentations, and marketing materials from natural language descriptions, images, or office documents, and supports export to Canva, PDF, PPTX, and standalone HTML formats. The generated results can also be delivered to Claude Code for further development, achieving a continuous process from creativity to engineering.
The tool supports reading context from DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, and even code repositories, automatically generating design and content assets that align with brand or project structures, significantly compressing the intermediate steps between requirement expression, design, and development. Similar capabilities have appeared in products like Figma AI and Canva Magic Design, but Claude Design further enhances the closed-loop capability of "cross-format input + directly deliverable output."
