U.S. DOJ Internal Memo Warns Prosecutors of Reduced Cooperation from Binance

According to Information, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) sent a memo to prosecutors handling digital currency cases in early June, anticipating that cooperation from Binance, the world's largest crypto platform, will decrease in the future.

The memo was issued by digital currency legal advisor Rachel Jones and copied to senior prosecutors, including Kevin Mosley, who is involved in the 2023 case against Binance; Binance will impose stricter requirements regarding asset freezes.

Binance denies the claims, stating that its cooperation with law enforcement remains unchanged and will continue to do so in the future.
