Legal tech company Harvey has hired 1,000 new employees in the past 12 months and plans to add another 600 by the end of this year.

Currently, 70% of the team members joined the company in 2026, indicating that the majority of the existing staff have less than one year of tenure, resulting in a rapid update and expansion of the team structure.

Harvey's valuation has grown to $15.5 billion in just four years since its founding, according to disclosures from its venture capital partner a16z.

a16z invited Harvey's Vice President of Talent, Maggie Landers, to their podcast to discuss how the company is building a corporate culture that maintains a consistent sprint pace for all employees amid the influx of 1,000 new hires.
