SpaceX founder Elon Musk posted on October 4 that SpaceX is a super intelligent company. The post contained only this sentence, receiving about 3,796 likes, 524 shares, and 865 replies, with approximately 426,000 views.

Three days prior, he referred to the orbital computing spacecraft as the Star Mind super intelligent spacecraft. Each solar-powered unit exceeds 250 kilowatts, about 20% larger than the International Space Station. He also expressed cautious optimism about running SpaceX's version of the framework at an average power close to 250 kilowatts, with a peak about 10% higher. If achieved, ground-based artificial intelligence computing would also be utilized.

On August 11, he told employees that artificial intelligence revenue is likely to surpass all other SpaceX revenues in September, and will significantly exceed them in the fourth quarter. Within four to five years, artificial intelligence will account for 99% of the company's value. The goal is to have 10 gigawatts of artificial intelligence computing power operational by the end of next year. He also stated that winning in artificial intelligence is essential, as the future will primarily revolve around artificial intelligence and robotics.

This statement did not announce new financing, launches, or customer contracts. It redefined the company from launch and Starlink to super intelligence. The orbital platform was described as a computing power carrier, powered by solar energy, independent of ground-based power grids. Ground applications were left as an extension of the same hardware.

Starlink remains the current source of cash flow, and launches are still the means of sending spacecraft into orbit. The post did not provide the chip model for individual satellites, the number in orbit, or contracted revenue from inference. The 250 kilowatts and 10 gigawatts are his stated power targets, not delivered capacity.

In market mechanisms, if the buyer is defined as someone purchasing orbital inference, the seller is SpaceX's spacecraft and solar energy. The event is driven by a redefinition, not a new launch list. Funding from Starlink and launch revenue is directed towards orbital computing. The narrative of overcoming power bottlenecks is beneficial, while the framework that still values the company based on rockets and satellite broadband is under pressure.
