Apollo Global Management emphasizes that better private credit market infrastructure will create a superior market for all participants and the broader financial system. The company is leading the construction of data standardization, secondary market liquidity, and pricing transparency.

In March 2026, Apollo will launch ICE Private Credit Intelligence in collaboration with the Intercontinental Exchange, addressing the fragmentation of private credit information by ingesting transaction documents, standardizing key terms, and distributing data to approved counterparties, with plans to introduce asset-level identifiers in the future.

In 2025, Apollo established a secondary trading platform focused on privately originated credit, facilitating over $13 billion in transaction volume within 18 months, covering more than 100 banks, asset managers, and institutional investor counterparties.

The company plans to achieve daily pricing for all over $830 billion in credit assets by September 30 and has provided daily position disclosures and liquidity through the State Street IG Public & Private Credit ETF (PRIV), which has approximately $850 million in assets.

The global scale of private credit is about $40 trillion, with most being investment-grade. Apollo believes that infrastructure is lagging behind the importance of the asset class and has chosen to take the lead in modernization rather than respond passively.

At the market mechanism level, event-driven infrastructure investments are attracting banks and institutional investors into the private credit secondary market, with funds flowing to originating platforms that have standardized data and daily pricing capabilities. Beneficiaries are large managers that can provide liquidity and transparency, while those under pressure are traditional private credit structures that rely on illiquid and low-frequency valuations.
