Quantofi and Crypto.com Launch AI Cryptocurrency Trading Analysis Platform

Irish fintech company Quantmatix's cryptocurrency analysis platform Quantofi has partnered with Crypto.com to launch an AI-driven cryptocurrency trading analysis platform. Users can access market analysis signals and execute trades directly through the Crypto.com Exchange.

The platform covers 215 cryptocurrencies and officially launched globally on October 10, after beta access for pre-registered users from October 2 to 9. The core of the platform is Quantmatix's proprietary Q Score (Institutional Velocity) engine, which tracks over 10,000 financial instruments across 50 countries and regions, including stocks, fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities, and cryptocurrencies, and automatically researches 25 global markets.

For the cryptocurrency market, Quantofi analyzes price momentum across five timeframes: 1 hour, 4 hours, daily, weekly, and monthly, providing each trading signal with volatility-adjusted target prices, stop-loss levels, and expected value (EV) indicators to quantify potential returns and risks. Quantofi is a Gold Tier partner within Crypto.com's brokerage ecosystem, connecting its analysis signals with the liquidity and order matching system of Crypto.com Exchange through fully disclosed brokerage integration, aiming to integrate market research and trade execution on the same platform.

Supported by Enterprise Ireland, Quantmatix aims to bring institutional-grade technology research to a broader audience of digital asset traders. The partnership was announced on October 9, emphasizing a seamless connection from market insights to trade execution. The platform describes itself as the "Market GPS" for the cryptocurrency market, reducing market noise through multi-timeframe momentum indicators.

However, Quantofi has not yet disclosed independently verified historical trading performance or signal return data, and the sustainability of these indicators in actual markets remains to be tested. The specific list of the 215 covered cryptocurrencies has also not been made public.

Market Mechanism: Quantofi provides analysis signals and research layers, while Crypto.com, as a Gold Tier partner, offers execution liquidity and order matching. The event-driven approach aims to integrate institutional-level momentum analysis into the brokerage ecosystem to increase trade conversion; funds and order flow move from signal users to Crypto.com Exchange (which charges trading fees), benefiting Quantofi (commercializing signal products) and Crypto.com (trading volume and fee income), while the signal providers face pressure due to the lack of independently verified performance (subject to actual effectiveness testing).

ABAB AI Insight

As an Irish fintech company, Quantmatix has long served hedge funds, family offices, and wealth management institutions with its Q Score engine, covering multiple asset classes such as stocks, fixed income, foreign exchange, and commodities. This time, through Quantofi, the same engine is being extended to cryptocurrency assets, establishing direct brokerage integration with exchanges for the first time, transforming institutional research tools into commercial products for a broader audience of traders.

On the capital path, the company leverages support from Enterprise Ireland to connect its proprietary momentum engine with Crypto.com's Gold Tier brokerage status, allowing signals to be routed directly to the exchange's order system. The goal is to convert research outputs into executable trading flows while increasing order volume and fee income for the exchange, rather than merely selling independent analysis subscriptions.

This is analogous to some traditional brokers integrating quantitative research signals with their own trading platforms or early forex signal providers collaborating with brokers on profit-sharing arrangements. Currently, we are in the early stages of AI-driven trading analysis expanding from institutional exclusivity to retail and semi-professional users in the cryptocurrency space, with Quantofi attempting to establish differentiation in the crypto market through multi-timeframe momentum and EV indicators.

Essentially, this represents a restructuring of the industry chain under the transfer of pricing power: analysis signals shift from independent research products to being bound with exchange execution in a closed loop, partially converting signal value into trading fee sharing or traffic contribution. The mechanism shortens the user decision path to "seeing a signal and placing an order," allowing exchanges to gain continuous fee income, while the accuracy of signals has a relatively indirect impact on fee flow.

  1. The value of signals only becomes revenue within the execution closed loop.

  2. Exchange fees do not depend on the correctness of signals, only on the action of placing orders.

  3. Institutional tools are retailized, first connecting to the matching system before discussing verification.
