Binance to Shut Down Binance Pool and Related Services on November 10

Binance has announced that it will cease operations of Binance Pool and related services on November 10, 2026, at 07:00 (UTC, or 15:00 UTC+8). This includes the mining pool itself, Pool Savings, cloud computing power, trading accelerators, as well as Telegram computing power alerts, email notifications, and mining pool APIs.

At that time, Binance will disconnect mining connections, disable Stratum addresses and mining endpoints, and any computing power and shares submitted thereafter will no longer be accepted, processed, or counted towards earnings. The entrances to related products will be closed, and no new rewards or earnings will be generated.

Binance advises users to reconfigure their mining machines to other pools before the deadline and to check Pool Savings positions, cancel subscriptions, or redeem. Eligible unclaimed rewards, balances, and refunds will be processed according to the rules after the service stops.

The homepage mining pool entrance will be removed on November 10, and the mining pool page will remain available until November 24 at 07:00 (UTC) for viewing historical data, account records, and payment status, after which it will be permanently closed.

The service will operate normally until the deadline, and qualified shares submitted before the deadline will still be included in the final reward calculation. This decision is part of Binance's ongoing review of products and services.

Miners need to transfer their computing power from Binance Pool to other pools, with funds and computing power flowing to competing pool operators; Binance is exiting the pool business, placing pressure on miners and existing users due to migration costs, while other pools benefit from potential inflows of computing power, driven by a contraction in the platform's product line.

Binance previously operated a mining pool to attract computing power and provide related financial and acceleration services. This overall shutdown during the product review is a continuation of its focus shift from a full-stack mining ecosystem to core trading and other businesses.

In terms of capital flow, computing power and related funds are moving from Binance Pool to other pools, as Binance will no longer bear the operational costs and reward distribution of the pool. The motivation is to simplify the product line and reduce the burden of non-core businesses, reallocating resources from mining infrastructure to other platform functions.

Similar cases include some exchanges exiting the mining pool business under market or regulatory pressure, or large pools contracting due to increased competition and cost concentration; the current mining pool industry is in a phase of computing power concentration and intensified competition, with affiliated pools facing exit pressure.

Essentially, this is a restructuring of the industry chain: exchanges are exiting the segment of providing mining access and reward distribution, with the supply side of computing power being redistributed to independent pools. The mechanism is that the platform is actively contracting non-core product lines and concentrating operational resources on higher priority businesses.
