TOKEN2049's locations have expanded from Singapore to Dubai, and now New York is added as an annual fixed site. Alex Fiskum attributed this to requests from attendees and partners, yet the announcement was made before the main event in Singapore and the segment featuring Eric Trump. This indicates that the new site is being launched based on the sold-out 25,000 attendees at the existing site, rather than testing demand in New York first.

Revenue comes from ticket sales, not from content. The $599 price is for super early bird tickets, with the expected 15,000 attendees being lower than the Singapore event. The main event lasts only two days, with the real inventory being the city-wide side events. Sponsors are buying time slots and lists, while attendees are purchasing a window to meet in the U.S. capital markets. The Dubai event will take place first in April 2027, followed by New York in June, integrating sponsorship budgets from Asia, the Middle East, and North America into the same annual calendar.

A comparison can be made with Consensus placing its flagship in the U.S., while Token2049 previously established its flagship in Singapore and Dubai. The difference this time is that there is no new brand being created; it is simply the same conference name being written into a third city. This reflects the conference company's transition from regional events to a touring schedule.

This represents a restructuring of the industry chain. Crypto conferences were previously scattered by jurisdiction, but organizers are now locking in annual budgets for sponsors with three fixed locations. Regulatory and listing topics are transforming New York from a side event city into a main event city, with pricing power residing in the schedule rather than individual presentations.
