Sony Receives Conditional Approval from OCC to Establish National Trust Bank and Launch USD Stablecoin

Sony has received conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish a national trust bank in the United States.

Sony plans to set up a subsidiary, Connectia Trust, this month and aims to launch the issuance and management of USD-denominated stablecoins in 2027.
