Anthropic Fully Integrates Claude into Microsoft 365
Anthropic announced that Claude has officially joined Microsoft 365, with plugins for Excel, PowerPoint, and Word transitioning from Beta to General Availability (GA), while the Outlook plugin enters public testing.
Users can invoke Claude directly within Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and Outlook emails without switching to the claude.ai web interface.
The core advantage lies in cross-application contextual integration: from organizing emails in Outlook to drafting replies, processing attachment briefs in Word, building financial models in Excel, and finally generating PowerPoint presentations to send review invitations back through Outlook, Claude automatically carries forward the previous context throughout the entire process.
