Dogecoin Labs Established to Integrate MyDoge and Other Products to Promote DOGE Applications

According to The Block, with the support of the Dogecoin Foundation, Dogecoin Labs has officially been established to integrate the MyDoge wallet, DogeOS application platform, and Such App payment products into a single independent organization, led by CEO Jordan Jefferson. The organization will focus on expanding DOGE's applications in consumer-level applications, payments, business, DeFi, and gaming, extending its use cases from community culture and meme-driven demand to practical applications.

MyDoge wallet has over 500,000 users and does not rely on paid customer acquisition. DogeOS launched a public testnet compatible with EVM on September 30, aiming to connect developers with DOGE holders. Such App, developed by House of Doge and Brag House, provides merchant tools such as invoicing and offline QR code payments.

The foundation will continue to be responsible for ecological governance and open-source development, while Labs will focus on product and business opportunities. The integration involves contributions from intellectual property and development teams.

The market views this as a step for DOGE to expand from meme demand to practical applications, concentrating resources from decentralized products to a unified organization, benefiting holders and developers seeking consumer and payment scenarios, while putting pressure on models that rely purely on community culture.

Jordan Jefferson previously founded MyDoge and DogeOS, with DogeOS receiving seed funding from Polychain Capital and others in 2025, continuing the path from wallet products to application layer development.

On the capital front, by collaborating with the Dogecoin Foundation, the integration of the wallet, application platform, and payment tools into an independent organization centralizes resources from decentralized teams to unified product development and distribution, strategically connecting holders, developers, and merchants.

This is analogous to other crypto projects integrating community tokens into application layers and payment tools, currently transitioning from testnet and wallet updates to unified product operations.

Essentially, this represents a restructuring of the industry chain and technological substitution: integrating wallets, EVM-compatible application layers, and merchant payment tools, with the mechanism being that the foundation retains open-source governance while Labs focuses on commercial applications, concentrating resources on practical use cases.
