StandX air-drop checker page goes live, community feedback says allocations are lower than expected
StandX announced today that its DUSD airdrop eligibility and allocation checker page is now live. According to the official announcement on October 15, the project decided not to issue a platform token and instead to conduct a one-time, unlock-free DUSD airdrop to the community, with funding coming from remaining protocol revenue plus additional contributions from the team. The checker page opened at 00:00 UTC on October 26, and the claim window runs from November 1 to December 31; unclaimed allocations after the deadline will be void.
Allocations are based on user activity on StandX, including pre-deposits, the Alpha phase, mainnet trading, market making and referrals. All allocations are subject to anti-Sybil and wash-trading screening. The project also announced a shutdown timeline: perpetual contracts were switched to reduce-only mode on October 20, remaining positions will be forcibly closed on January 15, 2027, and the final withdrawal and DUSD redemption deadline is January 31, 2027.
At present, feedback from the community and KOLs is mostly disappointment. Some users and KOLs said that points and actual allocations are severely mismatched; for example, one user said that more than 20,000 points resulted in only about 31.91 DUSD, and some pre-deposit accounts were allocated 0. Some voices believe the actual return is closer to a fee discount than an airdrop. Others believe that the project’s choice not to issue a token, instead returning remaining revenue plus team funds and providing a clear exit timeline, amounts to a relatively clear wind-down arrangement.

StandX is a perpetual contracts DEX running on BNB Chain and Solana. Since its mainnet launch in November 2025, it has served more than 237,000 users, and its TVL peaked at over $200 million. Its core product is the yield-bearing stablecoin DUSD, which users can use as margin while also earning yield. The October 15 announcement made clear that there would be no TGE, and that a one-time DUSD airdrop would instead be funded by remaining revenue plus team funds, with clear shutdown milestones.
After the checker page went live, community feedback widely showed a significant gap between points and allocations. Cases publicly shared by users and KOLs included high-point accounts receiving only dozens of DUSD and some pre-deposit accounts receiving nothing, triggering discussion that it was more like a fee discount. The project had previously stated in the announcement that allocations would undergo anti-Sybil and wash-trading screening and reserved the right to adjust or void abnormal accounts, but it did not disclose specific weighting or threshold details.
The decision not to issue a token and to publish an exit timeline avoids additional uncertainty from token secondary markets, while returning value in the form of DUSD. Watch points include subsequent claim rates, whether the project further explains the allocation calculation logic, and users’ capital exit status within the forced-close and redemption windows.
