Futu Hong Kong Launches BNB Deposit and Withdrawal Services

Futu Holdings' subsidiary, Futu Securities International (Hong Kong), has officially launched BNB deposit and withdrawal functions for qualified professional investors in Hong Kong. Users can transfer BNB between self-custody wallets and Futu crypto accounts via BNB Smart Chain (BEP20).

Withdrawals are limited to pre-verified and whitelisted addresses, with processing typically completed by 6 PM on the third business day. The platform currently does not charge additional fees, with a withdrawal fee of approximately 0.000055 BNB. The service is aimed at professional investors, with a threshold example of a portfolio reaching HKD 8 million.

Previously, Futu provided BNB trading pairs for professional investors in Hong Kong through the licensed virtual asset platform PantherTrade. This further facilitates on-chain deposits and withdrawals. Futu operates in Hong Kong under the Futu NiuNiu brand, while using moomoo in other global regions.

BNB Chain and CZ have both confirmed this news. Futu has previously launched BNB trading on the moomoo platform in the U.S. and Singapore, marking an expansion for compliant deposits and withdrawals in Hong Kong.

In terms of market mechanisms, traditional brokers are integrating mainstream crypto asset deposits and withdrawals under a licensed framework, attracting high-net-worth client funds to flow between securities and on-chain. BNB, as a transfer asset, benefits from increased use cases, and the opening of compliant channels allows some institutional funds to participate more smoothly.

Futu Holdings (NASDAQ: FUTU) provides securities and virtual asset services in Hong Kong through its licensed subsidiary, having previously achieved BNB trading via PantherTrade, and further opened deposits and withdrawals in October 2026. CZ and BNB Chain publicly confirmed this, indicating ecosystem integration.

In terms of capital flow, funds move from self-custody wallets into brokerage accounts, or vice versa. The professional investor threshold filters high-net-worth clients, making the compliant channel a bridge for traditional funds to enter the BNB ecosystem. Futu expands asset retention through the integration of cryptocurrencies and stocks.

This is similar to the gradual integration of mainstream crypto assets by other licensed brokers in Hong Kong or Singapore. It is currently a phase where traditional brokers deepen crypto services within a regulatory framework.

Essentially, this is about restructuring the industry chain and expanding compliant channels. Brokers leverage their licensed advantages to incorporate on-chain assets into existing account systems, reducing operational friction for professional investors. The mechanism allows for regulatory clarity regarding professional investor categories, providing space for compliant integration, with funds flowing between traditional and on-chain accounts.
