Revolut announces that its valuation has reached $115 billion

Digital bank Revolut said on its official X account that the company’s valuation is $115 billion ($115bn valuation).

The valuation corresponds to a secondary share sale transaction involving employees and existing shareholders completed in July 2026, with a price of $2,017 per share, about 53% higher than the $75 billion valuation in November 2025. The transaction did not inject new capital into the company and mainly provided liquidity.

Revolut was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in London. The company previously reported about $6 billion in revenue in 2025 and about $2.3 billion in pre-tax profit, and it has already obtained banking licenses in markets including the UK and Australia.

Revolut confirmed a $115 billion valuation through a secondary share sale rather than a primary financing round, allowing employees and early investors to monetize part of their holdings. The price was determined by a private transaction and did not undergo the daily price discovery of the public market.

Compared with listed banks, this valuation has already exceeded the market capitalization of some traditional European banks such as Barclays. However, Revolut’s loan-to-deposit ratio is about 6%, significantly lower than that of traditional banks, and its revenue relies more on non-interest businesses such as payments, foreign exchange, and subscriptions.

Company founder and CEO Nik Storonsky had previously discussed future listing goals, and some reports mentioned that his equity incentive was tied to a higher valuation. This official announcement did not disclose the specific transaction size or the list of buyers.

Revolut’s customer base has exceeded 80 million. The jump in valuation reflects market recognition of its global expansion and profit growth, but private secondary-market pricing may still differ from future IPO pricing.
