Binance Restricts Trading with HTX and Several Other Exchanges
Binance announced that, in compliance with regulatory requirements, several exchanges including HTX, EXMO, and ABCeX have been added to the list of exchanges with which it will no longer process related transactions.
Binance advises users to avoid transferring or receiving assets to or from the aforementioned exchanges directly or indirectly through Binance.
Continued attempts may result in account review or freezing.
The restrictions have been expanded since August 23 to include platforms such as HTX, EXMO, ABCeX, and Rapira, following previous restrictions on certain entities.
Binance stated that this move aims to meet regulatory requirements in the jurisdictions where it operates and to safeguard user assets.
On the market side, sanctions are driving compliant funds away from restricted platforms towards mainstream regulated exchanges, benefiting Binance with its compliance advantages, while platforms like HTX face pressure and declining liquidity.

Binance has previously limited multi-platform trading due to EU and UK sanctions related to Russia, and the inclusion of HTX (formerly Huobi) in the list shows its acceleration in cutting potential risk exposure under global compliance pressure.
In terms of capital pathways, Binance is enforcing asset isolation through announcements and technical restrictions, focusing resources on mainstream compliant channels, motivated by the desire to avoid regulatory penalties and solidify its position as a trusted centralized exchange.
Similar cases can be seen in the previous cuts to sanctioned platforms like Garantex, as well as restrictions by US exchanges on high-risk counterparties; Binance is currently in a phase of post-regulatory reconciliation and ongoing compliance enhancement.
The structural judgment reflects regulatory changes: international sanctions are directly transmitted to the crypto trading network, with the mechanism being large exchanges implementing list restrictions, thereby restructuring the global flow of crypto funds.
