Replit Revamps Mobile App, Supports Voice Input and Real-time Agent Building

Replit has launched a new mobile app, redesigned around the actual development experience on mobile devices.

New features include a refreshed homepage for quick work continuation, voice input allowing the Agent to build apps directly, swipe switching between chat/task/preview interfaces, and Live Activities to track Agent progress.

The app is now available on iOS and Android, enabling users to develop anytime, anywhere.

Replit previously launched AI coding tools like Agent, and this mobile app revamp continues its historical path of extending the development experience from desktop to mobile, similar to the early iterations of cloud IDEs adapting to multiple platforms.

From a capital perspective, Replit lowers the development barrier on mobile through voice and Agent features, attracting more casual developers and beginners, while expanding the user base to provide growth momentum for paid and enterprise services.

Similar to the mobile explorations of GitHub and VS Code, AI coding tools are currently in an expansion phase transitioning from desktop dominance to full-scenario availability.

Essentially, this represents a technological substitution: mobile-first design and Agent voice interaction reconstruct the development process, with capital concentrating on AI development platforms that lower barriers, and pricing power shifting from traditional desktop tools to integrated environments that support Anywhere development.
