ZachXBT reveals Axis Robotics insiders dumped more than 76 million AXIS

On-chain investigator ZachXBT disclosed that insiders at Axis Robotics (AXIS) obtained more than 76 million AXIS tokens, worth more than $12 million, from a project multisig wallet, then sold them through a DEX and transferred some tokens to the Bitget exchange. As a result, the price of AXIS fell by about 40% over the past 24 hours.

One of the insiders sold 42 million AXIS that day and now holds a combined more than 5.04 million USDC across eight wallet addresses. AXIS is an ERC-20 token on the Base chain, with contract address 0x5bE75e3b0aFf5D1A042A5363Ae36AcB1d6d755ea, a fixed total supply of 1 billion tokens, and completed its token generation event (TGE) around October 21, 2026. Initial circulating supply was about 165 million tokens, or 16.5% of the total supply.

The project’s official documentation shows that ecosystem allocation accounts for about 51%, while the core team and private sale portion have a 12-month cliff period. The community sale reportedly raised about $1 million at a price of $0.10, corresponding to 1% of supply, and the seed round was led by Hack VC with an amount of $12 million.

Axis Robotics is positioned as a physical AI data network, where users submit robot operation trajectories through a browser or mobile phone, and the data set is recorded on the Base chain. The company says it has collected millions of verified trajectories, the community sale ended in September 2026, was oversubscribed by about 2.39 times, and ultimately was allocated at about a 42% ratio. The seed round was led by Hack VC with $12 million, with Nomad Capital and others participating.

The project multisig, which the documentation says can control most of the unlocked supply with 4-of-6, transferred a large amount of tokens to insider-related addresses shortly after TGE, then sold through DEXs and partially moved funds to centralized exchanges. This contrasts with the documentation’s arrangement that team and private sale tokens have a 12-month cliff: the large transfers from the circulating portion occurred about one week after listing.

A comparable reference is the way some newly issued tokens see large multisig or team-address selling during the early stage of liquidity formation. What is the same as those cases is that the concentrated supply controller monetized during the price-discovery phase; what is different is that AXIS’s official documentation already clearly states that the multisig can withdraw unlocked balances at any time, and the scale of this sale accounted for a relatively high share of the initial circulating supply, directly corresponding to an about 40% single-day drop.

This event changed AXIS’s short-term supply and holder structure: about 76 million tokens entered the market or exchanges, and one address accumulated more than $5.04 million in stablecoins by selling 42 million tokens. For community sale and airdrop participants, the price has pulled back from the initial listing period, and the supply controlled by the multisig may continue to be released in subsequent vesting windows. Key indicators are whether the multisig addresses make further transfers and whether the project provides any explanation regarding the related addresses or vesting arrangements.

  1. When a large supply controlled by a multisig is transferred into the market early after listing, price discovery accelerates.

  2. An arrangement that allows withdrawal at any time in official documentation means a cliff period does not automatically equal actual lockup.

  3. A single address that sells through a DEX and then concentrates holdings in stablecoins shows that the monetization path has been completed.
