According to the Financial Times, major employers in the U.S. investing in AI, including software and media companies, have seen employment increase by about 10% after adopting AI tools.

The study was conducted by Revelio Labs and fintech company Ramp, showing significant employment growth among high-intensity adopters, while low-intensity adopters showed no noticeable change.

Entry-level positions in heavily invested companies grew by about 12%, alleviating concerns about AI causing mass unemployment.

Revelio Labs has been tracking labor market data over the long term, while Ramp provides insights into corporate spending, with both cross-validating AI spending and hiring records.

On the capital path, high-intensity AI investments are concentrated in knowledge-intensive industries, where companies expand sales, administrative, and customer service positions after enhancing efficiency with tools, creating a positive cycle of "investment-growth-hiring."

Similar to the model of early cloud computing and internet companies expanding their workforce after adopting new technologies, current AI adoption is at a stage where high-investment companies benefit first and amplify employment.

Essentially, this involves both technological substitution and job creation, as heavily invested companies use AI to scale output rather than merely reducing manpower.
