Eiden Liu: Initiates BNB Chain PayFi Infrastructure Project GANA Compensation Plan in Personal Capacity

Due to the withdrawal of the original GANA Foundation, Eiden Liu announced his exit from the foundation and has initiated a compensation plan in his personal capacity, actively assuming related responsibilities with the goal of achieving 100% compensation.

The first phase of the compensation plan is expected to involve approximately 20,000 addresses, with subsequent verifications based on real on-chain data, and compensation will be carried out in batches.

The overall compensation period is tentatively set at 2 to 3 years.

Eiden Liu stated that while the foundation has withdrawn, the responsibilities will not be abandoned, and he will continue to take actual actions to assume related responsibilities.

Funds are shifting from project responsibility to personal liability, with event-driven compensation commitments emerging. Holders of affected addresses are paying attention to the execution progress, and the related PayFi ecosystem is under pressure, with personal credit endorsement becoming a short-term trust restoration mechanism.

As GANA is a PayFi infrastructure project on the BNB chain, it previously experienced a security incident and announced full compensation before restarting. Following the withdrawal of the foundation, a core figure is personally assuming responsibility, continuing the trend of maintaining user asset commitments in crypto projects during team changes.

The compensation will be verified through on-chain data and executed in batches, motivated by the aim to rebuild trust through verifiable means, while distributing long-term financial pressure over a 2-3 year period, strategically transforming organizational responsibility into personal credit guarantees.

This is similar to early cases where multiple DeFi and payment projects initiated compensation by founders after hacking incidents or team dissolutions, currently transitioning from foundation entities to personal endorsements.

Essentially, this represents a capital path adjustment. After the project exits, responsibilities shift to individuals, with mechanisms replacing one-time organizational commitments with verifiable on-chain batch executions, testing the sustainability of personal credit in crypto asset compensation.
