Higgsfield opens 7 days of zero-credit use of Seedance 2.5 to new users

Higgsfield announced on its X account on October 29, 2026, that it is offering new users 7 days of zero-credit use of Seedance 2.5, along with three image models: GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana Pro, and Seedream 5.0 Pro. The company said the offer is at zero-credit cost, limited to 7 days, for new users only, and subject to terms and conditions.

The company’s subsequently released offer details show that annual Pro, Plus, Max, and Ultra plans can use Seedance 2.5 for up to 20 seconds (Ultra supports 1080p, while the others support 720p), as well as GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana Pro (up to 2K), and Seedream 5.0 Pro (up to 2K). Monthly Max and Ultra plans can use Seedance 2.5 for up to 20 seconds (Max at 480p, Ultra at 720p), and include the three image models above (up to 2K). Monthly Pro and Plus plans include only GPT Image 2.5 and Seedream 5.0 Pro (up to 2K), and do not include Seedance 2.5.

Higgsfield was founded in 2023 by Alex Mashrabov, the former head of generative AI at Snap, and co-founder Yerzat Dulat, an AI engineer from Kazakhstan. The company completed a $400 million Series B led by DST Global in August 2026, valuing it at $5.4 billion; in October, it also secured participation from NVIDIA and TCV in a Series B extension. The company said its annual recurring revenue run rate surpassed $1 billion in September, and it has more than 40 million registered users.

The Seedance series is ByteDance’s video model. Seedance 2.5 was officially launched in late July 2026, supporting videos up to 30 seconds per generation with native audio, and accepting up to 50 multimodal references. Higgsfield has repeatedly promoted the model through limited-time zero-credit windows: in August it launched Unlimited Seedance 2.5 for up to 33 days (tiered by plan and billing cycle, with an Unlimited toggle required), and earlier it also had 7-day and 14-day windows. This time, the window is exclusive to new users for 7 days, and resolution and duration are strictly limited by plan.

Compared with the August 33-day promotion, this window is shorter, limited to new users only, and monthly lower-tier plans exclude Seedance 2.5 entirely. The August campaign covered a broader user base and was tiered by annual and monthly billing; this time, the video model and high-resolution image models are explicitly concentrated in higher-tier annual plans. The platform has previously used short-term high-usage windows to lower the trial barrier before guiding users into a credit-based billing system.

This promotion concentrates zero-credit access in the first 7 days after new users join, and by plan leaves Seedance 2.5’s high-resolution and long-duration permissions to higher-tier annual plans. For creators who rely on high-volume testing of Seedance 2.5, the actual usable window depends on the billing cycle and plan tier they choose; after the window ends, generation will again consume credits. The observation metric is the actual concurrency and resolution performance of each plan during the window.

  1. After a limited-time zero-credit window is tiered by plan, the actual generation capability a new user receives depends on the billing cycle and tier they choose.

  2. The platform lowers entry costs through short-term high-usage trials, then redirects users back to a credit-based billing system after the window ends.
