Binance Launches AI Feature Suite for Beta Testing
On September 7, Binance announced the launch of a new AI feature suite called "Binance AI," which is currently open for beta testing applications. The aim is to help users interpret complex market data, identify market dynamics, and reduce information noise through AI.
According to the introduction, Binance AI will provide a personalized information interface, AI market insights covering both crypto and traditional assets, and concise, timely market updates. The first batch of users can apply to participate in the testing, and those who qualify for the whitelist will receive access instructions via email.
Currently, the Binance AI Beta is only open to Binance users who have completed identity verification, with limited slots available and distributed in batches. Submitting an application does not guarantee testing eligibility; Binance also stated that user feedback will be used to further improve the product.
Public information shows that Binance previously launched the "Binance AI Pro" public beta on March 25 this year, focusing on autonomous trading features—users can configure, test, and deploy their own trading parameters, executing orders and managing positions through third-party large language models. The system will create independent isolated sub-accounts for users and restrict API permissions (no withdrawals or transfers). The product is priced at $9.99 per month during the beta phase (original price $29.99), including 5 million monthly points, and offers a 7-day free trial; it is based on the OpenClaw ecosystem and supported by multiple models such as ChatGPT, Claude, Qwen, MiniMax, and Kimi. Binance's VP of Products, Jeff Li, previously stated that the company views AI and cryptocurrency as "complementary pillars," focusing on using AI to help users discover information, monitor the market, and take action.
Unlike Binance AI Pro, which focuses on automated trading execution, the newly released Binance AI emphasizes the interpretation and presentation of market information, helping users filter noise and grasp key dynamics through personalized information streams and AI market insights, rather than directly replacing users in executing trades.

Binance's approach to AI product development follows a path of "first creating trading execution agents, then filling in the information interpretation layer"—launching the autonomous trading-focused Binance AI Pro in March, built on the OpenClaw ecosystem and integrating multiple third-party large models like ChatGPT and Claude, while the newly released Binance AI addresses the more fundamental user need for "information noise filtering and market insights." This differs from the traditional fintech companies' product iteration order of "first creating intelligent advisory execution tools, then supplementing information services," reflecting that crypto trading platforms prioritize meeting the automated trading needs of high-frequency active users.
From a product pricing perspective, Binance AI Pro adopted a paid subscription model (starting at $9.99 per month, including a points package) during its beta phase, indicating that Binance is beginning to explore AI features as an independent incremental revenue source, rather than just a free retention tool for the platform. This model aligns with the business logic of large model providers like OpenAI and Anthropic charging subscription fees to enterprises and end users, but Binance is applying it within the crypto trading context, attempting to convert users' willingness to pay for trading execution capabilities and market insights into a second growth curve beyond trading fees.
This bears a logical similarity to Bloomberg Terminal's long-standing business model of charging institutional investors through a subscription for integrating vast market data, news, and analytical tools, except that Binance AI aims to bring this "information terminal" model down to retail crypto users while covering both crypto and traditional assets. The current AI competition among crypto trading platforms is evolving from "point function experiments" (like automated following and intelligent alerts) to a "comprehensive AI information and execution terminal" phase, with major competitors like Coinbase and OKX also accelerating the deployment of similar AI information and trading assistance features on their platforms.
Essentially, this represents a "reconstruction of the industry chain"—at the mechanism level, the market interpretation capabilities traditionally held by professional analysts, paid information platforms, and research institutions are being directly embedded into users' daily trading interfaces through AI systems built by trading platforms. Users no longer need to navigate to external information websites or social media to piece together market information; instead, they can complete the entire loop of information acquisition, decision-making, and order execution within the same trading app. This also means that trading platforms are expanding from merely being "matching and custodial entities" to a comprehensive platform role of "information entry + decision tools + execution terminals," potentially consolidating user attention and willingness to pay, which was previously scattered across third-party information platforms, into the trading exchange's own product system.

The one who first integrates information, judgment, and order placement into the same interface will capture all user attention.
The essence of AI subscription fees is to put a price on users' decision anxiety.
Once a platform learns to provide information, the moat of third-party information providers will be half breached.
