LAB Token Plummets 85% in 24 Hours, FDV Once Reached $14 Billion
On-chain detective ZachXBT reported that LAB dropped from $14 to just below $2 in the past 24 hours, with the $14 price corresponding to an FDV of $14 billion.
Binance, Bitget, and Gate did not take action to prevent the situation, as insiders controlled the circulating supply and manipulated prices through market makers. Investors were set to unlock tokens later this month, but the schedule has changed multiple times.
ZachXBT does not encourage trading LAB.

ABAB AI Insight
ZachXBT has previously exposed manipulation and rug pulls in crypto projects, and this criticism of LAB continues its focus on high FDV and low liquidity projects, as well as the lack of risk control by centralized exchanges (CEX).
In terms of capital flow, insiders control supply and create prices through CEX market making, while changes to the unlock schedule exacerbate selling pressure. The lack of intervention by CEX has led to retail losses, with profits not distributed to affected users.
Similar to multiple meme and new token flash crashes in 2024-2025, and the delayed response of CEX to manipulation accounts, LAB is currently in a crash phase following the exposure of high valuation project unlocks and manipulation.
Essentially, this reflects capital concentration and regulatory changes: internal control and CEX complicity lead to short-term price distortion, stemming from an opaque unlock schedule and insufficient liquidity, ultimately transferring funds from retail to insiders and market makers, highlighting the industry's need for stronger transparency mechanisms.
ABAB News · Cognitive Laws
High FDV and low circulation are breeding grounds for manipulation, and unlocks signal harvesting.
CEX inaction is complicity; profit distribution is the baseline for user protection.
Internal control outweighs fundamentals, and retail investors should stay away from late-stage projects.
